Understanding the caller
“Could you book a consultation for Tuesday morning?”
“I can help arrange that. Which time zone should I use?”
AI voice agents
An AI voice agent holds a phone conversation and completes the job behind it. Unlike an IVR, which routes a caller through a menu, or a voicebot, which answers questions, it carries a defined responsibility, the system access to finish the work, and the same completion criteria you would apply on any channel.
Conversation and execution
Follow the conversation and the actions behind it. Routine work proceeds within permissions; commercial exceptions reach a human owner.

INSIDE THE BUILDER
Define the instructions, shape the conversation and connect the actions behind it. Explore voice settings, role guidance and handoff configuration.
The voice, tone and response-style controls sit together, so the conversation can be configured around the role.

Production readiness
Map telephony, calendar and CRM dependencies. Test permitted reads and writes, duplicate requests and unavailable systems.
Define what the employee can confirm independently. Pricing exceptions, policy overrides and uncertain requests need an explicit handoff path.
Use representative accents, interruptions and incomplete requests. Inspect task completion, incorrect confirmations and the quality of context sent to a person.
Define the transfer, callback or case-assignment path during configuration. Include the reason, relevant records and unresolved decision so the person can continue the work.
Confirm the supported setup for your deployment and test it with representative callers, names and domain vocabulary. Availability alone is not a measure of call quality.
The starting point is your current system of record. Confirm required integration actions during scoping rather than assuming every operation is available.
Timing depends on access, integration work, agreed scope and evaluation. Use a limited pilot with acceptance criteria before increasing volume.
